From the product description
A short guide to the design and features described by Cary Audio.
01
A second enclosure keeps noise out of the musical signal path and provides a more stable electrical foundation.
02
The fully differential-balanced construction uses no global feedback for faster response. The design is a Class A triode vacuum-tube preamplifier.
03
There are three pairs of RCA inputs, a tape loop, two pairs of XLR balanced inputs and a Cinema Bypass mode for sharing sources with a home-theatre processor.
04
The SLP-05 includes hand-matched tubes and a matched pair for its built-in headphone amplifier, with one XLR and two RCA pairs of preamplifier outputs.
