The details that matter.
A short guide to the design and features described by the Marantz store description.
02
Luxurious design
Architectural design, modern materials and intuitive operation make CD 60 as incredible to behold as to hear.
03
A natural companion
Complementary visual design plus compatible technology make CD 60 a natural companion to MODEL 40n, MODEL 30 or other Marantz amplifiers.
04
Rich, warm and spacious sound
Expertly tuned by the legendary Marantz Sound Master for The Most Musical Sound.
05
Optimized HDAM circuit
In the CD 60, the proprietary HDAM circuit has been further optimized by placing the parts symmetrically on the audio board and creating a more direct signal path. This update improves the sound stage from previous models in pursuit of The Most Musical Sound.
06
High-current power supply
The CD 60 power supply uses high-speed, high-current Schottky barrier diodes, higher-value current storage capacitors and improved voltage regulators compared to predecessor models in this class. Oversize capacitors improve current stability and reduce noise during highly demanding listening sessions.
07
Hi-res audio from USB
CD 60 can play MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV, FLAC HD, ALAC, AIFF up to 192 kHz/24-bit, and DSD up to 5.6 MHz files from a connected USB storage device.
